Yesterdrive is an indie and alternative rock band from Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, formed in 2013. Drawing on indie rock, Britpop and the sounds of ’70s, ’80s and ’90s rock, they have developed a melodic, guitar-driven sound that feels both nostalgic and distinctly their own. Their first release, “Hold On,” earned a Best Rock Song nomination at the Voice International Music Awards in Singapore. Since then, they have performed across India and internationally, including at Music Matters Singapore. Yesterdrive are also Ziro veterans, having played multiple editions of the festival since its early years. Their latest single, “Still North,” released in 2026, marks their return with the same restless guitars and infectious songwriting that have defined them for over a decade. Still North. Still rocking.
