Talahib is a Filipino folk and world music collective from Manila, formed in 2000. For over two decades, they have blended indigenous Filipino instruments and traditional rhythms with folk, rock, reggae, blues, jazz and dance, creating music that is deeply rooted yet constantly evolving. Their songs explore culture, identity, environmental protection, indigenous rights, inequality and social change, but never lose sight of music’s power to bring people together. Their album Talahib: Mga Awit ng Pag-Ibig at Digmaan (Songs of Love and War) captures this balance of resistance, celebration, love and hope. In 2025, Talahib celebrated 25 years of music. Like the wild grass they take their name from, they are rooted, resilient and impossible to ignore. Performing at Ziro Festival at the Moon Stage on 24 September 2026 from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm.
