Saltaire is a contemporary folk and trad collective bringing together three distinctive musical voices: singer and cellist Kaitlin Cullen-Verhauz, guitarist Ian Kinsella, and bodhrán and bouzouki player Conor Lyons. Drawing on years of experience performing with acclaimed Irish traditional and folk musicians, the trio weave Irish and American folk traditions into a rich, modern sound. Kaitlin has performed with 2025 RTÉ Folk Award winners Natalie Ní Chasaide & Iarfhlaith Ó Domhnaill and Frankie Gavin & De Dannan, alongside Ian. Conor is a founding member of The Bonny Men and also performs with Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin, with all three Saltaire members featuring on his acclaimed debut album The Deepest Breath. Together, they create haunting, atmospheric folk driven by rich storytelling, combining cello, guitar, bodhrán and bouzouki to reimagine traditional tunes and original songs. Their debut EP, Only Moonlight, released earlier this year, has received acclaim from Hot Press, RTÉ Radio 1, BBC and Irish Music Magazine, among others. Following showcases at Your Roots Are Showing in Belfast and Culture Ireland TradFest in Dublin, Saltaire have been invited to perform across Europe, Australia and the United States.
