Michael Dias is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Kochi, India, with over a decade of experience in the country’s independent music scene. Drawing from classic rock, folk, blues, jazz and contemporary pop, his music brings together diverse influences with a distinctive songwriting voice. Formerly the frontman and driving force behind rock band Mad Orange Fireworks, Michael has since embarked on a solo career. His debut album, *Show Me What’s Real*, released in November 2023, is an eclectic, genre-spanning collection rooted in personal and emotional expression. Over the years, Michael has written more than 60 songs and performed at venues and festivals across India, including NH7 Weekender in Pune and Bangalore, Red Panda Music Festival in Shillong, Into the Void in the Rann of Kutch, and Storm Festival in Coorg. Alongside his work as a performing artist, Michael is an experienced music educator and has been teaching music for over 12 years.
