Kaali Duniya

India

Star ⭐ Stage

Kaali Duniya is the dark, bass-heavy alter ego of Mumbai producer, DJ and emcee Tushar Adhav, also known as BamBoy. Rooted in deep dubstep, soundsystem culture and political resistance, the project turns low-end pressure into a language of protest, confronting caste, class, exclusion and gatekeeping within India’s cultural spaces. Adhav’s sound draws from Mumbai street systems, Marathi folk traditions, Dalit poetry, Adivasi rhythms and the political history of dub. Releases such as Dubs At Kabristan, LANDLESS CLASTE and his 2025 debut album BABYLON’S CAMP use sub-bass, negative space and fractured percussion to explore social hierarchy and access. Beyond his music, Adhav co-created Low End Therapy, a Mumbai bass night focused on widening participation in club culture. At Ziro, Kaali Duniya brings heavy bass, political urgency and uncompromising intent to the dance floor. Performing at Ziro Festival at the Star Stage on 25 September 2026 from 11:00 pm – 12:00 am.
