Fati Teniri is an Algerian singer and guitarist from Tamanrasset, in the heart of the Sahara, whose music is rooted in desert blues and Saharan folk traditions. Performing on both acoustic and electric guitar, she draws from the hypnotic, cyclical guitar language associated with the region while bringing a distinctly personal voice to it.
