Rhythm Rebels is an Ubud, Bali-based duo formed by drummer Reza Achman and multi-instrumentalist Rizal Abdulhadi, combining electronic dance energy with handmade and traditional instrumentation. Their sound moves through drum & bass, dubstep, jungle, deep house and energetic roots music, driven by live drums, didgeridoo, bamboo bass and custom-built instruments. Formed in 2018, the duo quickly moved onto international stages, including performances in India and South Korea. Their 2021 debut album ROAR expanded that hybrid approach across ten tracks, blending high-tempo electronic production with organic rhythm and collaborations from Indonesia and beyond. Rhythm Rebels’ live identity is intensely physical, replacing a laptop-led feel with real instruments, improvisation and low-end pressure. At Ziro Festival 2026, they bring that collision of handmade sound and electronic force to the Sun Stage.
